About Node

NODE is a non-profit, exclusive social education network for AAPI community leaders running non-profits or mission driven organizations like B Corps, social entrepreneurs, and community focused organizations.

We exist to unify and advance our community by better connecting our community leaders and then empowering them with innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

Node is where entrepreneurship meets non-profit. Our program uses entrepreneurial tools and methodologies to help non-profits become more aligned, and build more financial, operational and leadership capacity.

2. Fundraising
3. Grant Writing
4. Marketing: Branding/Social Media
5. Matchmaking (Finding specific relationships/resources)
6. Team/Culture Building
7. Operations
8. Legal

After the retreat, each organization will have a plan to execute off of for the next 90 days. Each organization will have 30 minutes a week to do a check-in on goals and process any issues in an efficient, reusable, set-meeting format around updates, issues, and to-do items. Based on their capacity, organization can decide whether to meet weekly, biweekly or monthly.

Each month, the cohort will meet in groups of 5 (groups will be organized by organization age/size) to mastermind for one organization on their most complex, challenging issue or opportunity they are facing. The mastermind will last 90 minutes, and be facilitated by a moderator. The format will be introduced at the retreat, and is reusable post program.
